DEEM is Erasmus + funded strategic partnership “network to network” project aiming to adapt and transfer to the partner nations an enterprise and employability curriculum that can be used during mobilities to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of beneficiaries of such schemes and lead to sustainable employment.
The Partnership seeks to enhance the “boost to employability” through an employability/enterprise curriculum that is offered during the mobility and by improving the materials of the Enterprise and Employability programme and standardise it. We want to design the most appropriate curriculum and pedagogy, using the knowledge of all the partners. We acknowledge the different pedagogical approaches of partners/nations, yet also seek to be uniform in our approach.
The kick-off meeting of the DEEM project took place in Florence from 14th to 15th of November 2016. The partners had the opportunity to meet each others and discuss the work to be carried out during the coming months.
The 2nd partner meeting of the DEEM project took place from 1st to 2nd of March 2017 in Seville. During this meeting, the partners of the project, in order to have a greater impact, agreed on a slogan that defines the main objectives of DEEM: “a collaboration of European partners to improve employability through team work, entrapreneurship, and digital competences”
The 3rd meeting took place from 31st of July to 1st of August in Berlin.
During these days, the partners have worked with the material that will be used in future trainings for trainers. They have also discussed, among other things, new ways for making productive work groups with participants.
The final meeting of the DEEM project took place half Februray 2018 in Bucharest. We have been working in this project since 2016 and it aimed at defining a standardized curriculum on entrerprise and employability targeting VET students. This training programme is designed to work in symbiosis with the work placement allowing the students to record both their professional and personal goals.
