VET4ALL - Kick-Off Meeting in Bystrzyca Klodzka
IFOM has attended the Kick-Off meeting of the VET4ALL project coordinated by Zespol Szkol Ponadpodstawowych w Bystrzyca Klodzka, Poland. The project involves the association of 5 organizations and the holding international meetings collecting good practices/procedures/tools to strengthen the sending, intermediary and host organizations of the VET sector in the participation of people with disabilities. During the meetings we will carry out study visits to organizations and schools in the VET sector that are examples of good practice when it comes to supporting people with disabilities.
VET4ALL - Meeting in Bologna
How to improve work of teachers and youth workers when it comes to vocational education of people with disability? How to create better VET project for people with special needs? How to help young people with disability to achieve excellence in vocational profession?Those were the topics of international meeting within project VET4ALL, which, this time, took place 01-04.06.2022 in Bologna, Italy. The partnership had the chance to visit various vocational centers, experts and companies who cooperate with people with special

VET4ALL - Meeting in Tempere
IFOM took part in the international meeting of VET4ALL project, this time in Tampere, Finland. The project’s main objective is to support the participation of students with special needs, especially students with disabilities, in the VET sector and the visits organised by the Finnish partner XAMK - South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences were inspiring on many levels. The partnership had the opportunity to meet and to talk to Dr. Katariina Hakala, a researcher in the Finnish Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, as well as the chance to visit 2 technical schools (Valkeakoski Vocational College and Tredu Vocational School) where the head of division, teachers and students shared good practices and ideas when dealing with students with disabilities. Finally the group visited Syke, a job coaching centre that daily cooperates with people with special need.
VET4ALL - Meeting in Wroclaw
IFOM took part in an international meeting of VET4ALL project, this time in Wroclaw, Poland. During these days we visited several organizations where examples of good practices were exchanged between the participating countries. We had the opportunity to discuss the general welfare of European youth and which methods can be used to support students with special needs in training centers in different countries.
VET4ALL - Meeting in Zaragoza
Throughout these days we worked on developing good practices, procedures, tools, and behavior patterns in order to modify the processes used in mobility initiatives so that persons with disabilities can participate in them. This gathering of innovative methods and excellent examples, which we will present in May at the conference where the outcomes of the VET4ALL initiative will be presented, was highly fruitful.
