IFOM has been involved in the VET (Vocational Education and Training) sector since our establishment. Especially implementing traineeships mobility schemes at local and transnational level. We have implemented over 250 projects funded by European programmes and thus we have developed solid competences in designing and implementing these kinds of projects.
IFOM has relevant experience in the ECVET system and is part of the ECVET community of practice and is regularly attending the annual ECVET forums and the relevant peer-learning activities organized be the ECVET secretariat. IFOM is part the European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAFA) and has participated as stakeholder in the EAFA annual meetings and in high level policy-making events such as the 2016 DGVT Peer Review on national reforms and policies in the area of apprenticeships organized by the EU with the participation of the Directors General for VET from all the European countries.
