I love oil painting, traveling, theatre, and visual arts. I have chosen the project of IFOM as it correlates with my further Ph.D. research in foreign languages.
Being a very outgoing person who is into networking and learning new stuff, I am looking forward to broadening my horizons in Teaching and Digital marketing with IFOM and exploring Bologna to the fullest extent possible :)
Volunteering is a fulfilling experience that not only helps the community but also provides an opportunity for personal growth and development. The chance to give back to society and make a difference in people's lives is a gratifying experience that stays with you forever. In this article, I will describe my experience volunteering as a tour guide and course assistant for teachers from around Europe and how it impacted me.
I volunteered to provide tours around the city for teachers who had come from different parts of Europe. I was excited to show them the beauty and history of the city, and I was also excited to learn more about their cultures. As a tour guide, I had the opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds and learn more about their interests and perspectives. I learned how to communicate with people from different cultures, which enhanced my intercultural communication skills.
During my time as a volunteer, I also assisted the teachers in their courses. This was an enriching experience because it allowed me to learn more about different teaching techniques and methodologies. I was able to gain a better understanding of the different ways that people learn and the importance of effective communication in teaching. The experience helped me develop a deeper appreciation for education and the hard work that goes into being a teacher.
In addition to my volunteering responsibilities, I was able to dive into Italian culture. I learned more about the country's history, traditions, and customs, which helped me develop a greater appreciation for the Italian way of life. I also had the opportunity to meet other volunteers who had come from different parts of the world. It was an incredible experience to meet people who were passionate about making a difference in the world.
Overall, my volunteering experience was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It allowed me to give back to the community, learn more about different cultures, and develop new skills. It also provided me with an opportunity to meet incredible people who shared my passion for making a difference in the world.
